Five years on from training as a Cycle Mechanic at The Bike Inn, it's time to say "it changed my life". Straight after my training in May 2020 I started a part-time business in Durham, imaginatively named "Durham Bike Repairs". It was open 2 days a week, and it was an instant success. A few years later, it enabled me to take early retirement (age 59) from a very stressful job in manufacturing and work just on bikes. I now have full control of my life and my time and work simply does not feel like work anymore. I would like to say a big thank you to Jon, Henrietta, and the team.
