This allows you to study all the theory remotely at your own pace and carry out some practice of the physical skills needed in the on-site phase. This is a flexible and progressive way to study, supported by the course tutors. We’ll be there for you via online meetings, tutorials, email or phone calls to answer all your questions, and ensure you are not left feeling alone during your learning.
What qualification will I receive, and is the course independently verified by an awarding education body?
OFQUAL Level 2 Qualification in Bicycle Mechanics (regconised worldwide), the course is awarded by ETA to ensure the best quality for all our students.
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in cycle mechanics, covering essential topics to build technical expertise and confidence. You will gain an in-depth understanding of core bicycle components, including frames, drivetrains, braking systems, and bearings.
Hands-on training will equip you with the skills to perform essential maintenance and repairs, such as tyre and tube replacement, brake and gear adjustments, and chain servicing. You will also learn the principles of proper bike setup and safety checks to ensure correct assembly and rider security.
